A well staged home gives purpose to each room without overpersonalization. Some sellers believe that leaving their "stuff" in the home will help sell it. It's all about the presentation of "the stuff" that does it and if it doesn't have a contemporary feel many buyers have difficulty visualizing themselves in the home.
