Big happenings this week at the Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, AZ. Click HERE to the schedule of events starting Monday January 18th and going to Sunday January 24th. More than 200,000 people are expected to attend this one of a kind event. Kellie Hwang gives some good pointers in her Arizona Republic article out today.
This is a lot of fun to attend. The problem this time of year is finding the time to see and take in all the events each weekend has to offer around the valley. Last year I missed most of them as I was too busy with work. I'm surprised my husband hasn't mentioned the auction yet as someday we will own a classic car of our own and he loves to take in the Barrett-Jackson.

Oh man I would so love to attend that event. It is one of my favorite things to even watch on television, which reminds me that I need to see if I have a channel that will be broadcasting any of it so I can record it and not miss it completely.

Kathy-I went to Barrett Jackson one time about 6 years ago. It was fun to see all of the cars even though I could never afford one. Who says you can't look right :)
Josee - I'd venture to guess the vast majority of the 200,000 expected to attend are just looking. There are many other displays to see too. Lots of fun!
