Way back when I was in my 20's I bowled on a league team and had loads of fun. Well this weekend I had a chance to bowl for the first time in years at the Johnson Lanes in Sun City West.
My husband, who is the manager of the Fletcher Music Center in Sun City West, was treating a number of his customers and employees to a night of bowling fun. I was invited to join in and eventually found my groove.
That doesn't mean my score was very good... but I WAS able to roll my share of strikes and spares. More than anything though was the great time we had watching the shimmies, shakes and other various antics people used to entice those pins to fall.
When all was said and done, the concensus was... we all want to do it again. Very Soon! Now... If only I could get my 20 year old body back.
