Of the Del Webb Sun City Festival models, the Gala is arguably the best seller in the bunch. A good number of the buyer's, looking for homes in Sun City Festival, are buying a second home or vacation getaway. The Sun City Festival Gala, with it's split bedroom PLUS den plan AND 2.5 car garage, is really hard to beat.
At just over 1600 s.f. it seems to be "just right" in the size category for many second home purchasers.

Once there be sure to look at the map closely. Homes on Ross, Potter & Irma will probably have views of high tension power lines either from the back patio or the front of the home. In fact, when looking at the Days on Market (ADOM & CDOM) the homes that appear to have been on the market the longest are generally in the vicinity of the power lines. Either that or they are just overpriced and the seller is not willing to price it where the market indicates.
For those of you that are not bothered by the power lines, you can usually get some great deals along this corridor. Don't expect to get a premium lot property for the discounted price you see for the "power line homes" though. I generally get top dollar for my Gala listings that are in great locations. Many times I will have multiple offers as well.
