Snow in Sun City Grand Arizona????
Yes indeed. I was in my Ken Meade Realty Sun City Grand office writing up an offer for one of my clients when down the hallway we heard, "IT'S SNOWING OUTSIDE!!!".
As you might expect everyone went running to the windows to confirm this rare sight. Too bad I didn't grab my camera.
No one thinks of snow when you think of the Arizona desert but this is actually the second time I've experienced it. This go-round was short lived but several years ago (before moving to Surprise, AZ) we were visiting relatives in Scottsdale and took a SHORT drive up to Carefree. We witnessed a winter wonderland that had me speechless.
