The Cactus are in bloom in Sun City Grand & the other Del Webb Retirement Communities
Yesterday, while driving past some houses in Sun City Grand, I couldn't help but notice the cactus are all in bloom. Look at the variey I found within just a half block.
It's amazing how beautiful the flowers on these prickly plants can be. I can't wait to see the desert in bloom with wildflowers. They say we had record rainfall this year (coming from Seattle that isn't saying much) and that it always makes for a colorful spring in the desert.
