Located next to Sun City Grand and within just a few miles of Arizona Traditions, Sun City Festival, Sun City West and Sun Village, Surprise Arizona restaurant Amuse Bouchewas just written up in the October 2009 issue of Phoenix Magazine as one of the "Best New Restaurants" in the greater Phoenix area.
What started out as a catering and take-out business has blossomed into a "casual, cute & cozy" modern French Bistro. The husband and wife team, Snir & Kierstin Mor met at culinary school in Paris. They soon ditched their day jobs and set up shop here in Surprise AZ to pursue their passion.
An excerpt taken from Phoenix Magazine
"If we could spend an entire day eating at Amuse (and trust us, we could), we would start with a plate of fluffy beignets, New Orleans style, followed by eggs Benedict, which oozes with creamy dreamy Hollandaise. For lunch we crave the cabernet burger, a half-pound patty infused with cabernet wine and topped with Swiss cheese, crispy bacon and caramelized onions. If it's the soup du jour, we'll take a bowl of the French onion topped with creamy Gryere and Emmentaler. Dinner begs for the beef tenderloin with creamy potato puree and carrot butter sauce; or the just-like-mom-makes-it meatloaf. Knowing that the Mor duo is Paris-trained, we of course can't skip desert, so we'll splurge for the chocolate pot de creme, served with vanilla whipped cream or that heavenly blueberry bread pudding topped with homemade caramel sauce."
